Today's blog... 30 Day Blogging Challenge The Sunday Resonance: Review your peers. Tell us your favorite blog entry from your fellow challengers from the preceding week and, importantly, why. Share also with us which of your own blog posts you think stands out. I enjoyed writing many of the prompts this week. Some of them really surprised me. Especially the one liner prompt that took off into a story. "Pick Up Lines & Memory Aids" . I may make this one into a static item. I enjoyed writing and reflecting on the sounds... I love where it took me... a place that now sits empty; a place that time has worked its fingers into to and shredded it from what it once was... but in my mind, I can hear those sounds and feel those memories like they are happening now (thanks to the beauty of a writing mind). "Sounds Of My Time, Pumpkin Views & Daydreaming" I also liked my pumpkin's thoughts "Sounds Of My Time, Pumpkin Views & Daydreaming" This was one that intrigued me. Mitchopolis had an excellent version of this with "Invalid Entry" . He has such a great imagination and captures it so well in his created pieces. I find I don't read his until I have created my own, but I almost always enjoy his take on the prompt. I enjoyed many people's take on that pumpkin piece. I really enjoyed the one liners, as well. {user;frannywill} came up with an original that was quite funny. She also kept many of us entranced with her Yellow Bricks and Elle - on hiatus and I were the proud winners of her MB for guessing her secret surprise. I will not give it away, but I will say... I nailed it. . That was a brilliant way to get us to check in each day. Writing beyond the blog... had me finishing up the 7 Yard Stretch Challenge. Here's a taste:
