The Headline: Legendary TV Hero Passes Away. James Garner. I loved him in "The Rockford Files" and I watch it now on a TV channel that shows old shows. He was handsome and his drama series was comedy as well as drama. As soon as the theme song played, I was ready to watch the show. He managed to get arrested on the show and in real life, we frown on policemen getting arrested but when our beloved TV characters get arrested, it is part of the storyline and we are always are on his or her side. I liked James when he played in the movie" Maverick" and "The Notebook." Another great actor has left us.
