To cater for the latest Aussie rage; pet goats, and to keep up with my previous blogs of out-there items on offer, I have some for sale. Well, they might even be sold by now.

Gali - Miniature Nubian cross doe. 3 years old just finished her second lactation where she peaked at 2 litres per milking without pushing with grains. Stands perfectly on the milking stand and lovely to milk. She has a good high udder with no pockets or droop. Her teats are just slightly longer than my hands are wide, so milking is easy and her milk flow is very quick. She has a lovely nature and gives lots of milk for her size and feed consumption. Her milk is very mild and has no goaty taste. Would be fantastic for a first time learner. $250

Blackthorne - British Alpine, Anglo Nubian cross doe. 10 months old and well grown, could be put to the buck this year. Her mother peaked at 2 1/2 litres per milking without pushing with grains and birthed twins kids. A wonderful nature, she has been trained to a lead and milking stand and will make a wonderful milker once her training is complete. $250

Bramble - British Alpine, Anglo Nubian cross doe. 10 months old but not as large as her twin sister (Blackthorne) so best to wait until next season for mating. Her mother peaked at 2 1/2 litres per milking without pushing with grains and birthed twins kids. A wonderful nature, she has been trained to a lead and milking stand and will make a wonderful milker once her training is complete. $250

All three goats have been on a herbal worming routine as well as a commercial worming routine, they have their feet regularly trimmed and are from a disease free herd and will come with a Nation Goat Health Statement and management booklet. I will train anyone in dairy goat management who would like to learn, offer free hoove trimming and worming for these girls to ensure that they are going to an appropriate home.
