The mustard field

Prompt: Describe your first memorable experience exploring and spending time in nature. Were you in awe? Or were you not impressed?

I was about four years old. My grandmother gave me a necklace with a very small glass globe. Inside the globe was a single mustard seed. She said," I want you to remember that if you have faith even as small as this seed. That you can move mountains.'

I was wearing it when I walked out into a field of tall yellow mustards plants that grew as weeds in the valley. Yummy blossoms waved in the breeze high above my head. I raced with my arms stretched out catching and eating the delicate blossoms.
I tired of that and played with a silken white ball I found. I pinched it and gently tore it open. To my amazement it held many tiny spiders. They wiggled. I dropped them and ran off.

I came to a clearing and spun around in all directions. I could see Table Rock Mountain and Mt. Pitt, and I wondered, Why would I EVER want to move a mountain?
