Was Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl not "worthy"?
  Was Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl not "worthy" enough to be rescued? Is that the litmus test we now use for human beings? Does society say: "you were incompetent", "you made the choice", "you screwed up", or (in his case) - "you deserted!". Therefore, you get what you deserve? I hope society will be kinder to me the next time I screw-up! Forgiveness has always been a trait in America. The ability to forgive - Americans have always had that. Can we forgive this kid for his horrible decision (and the resulting damage it produced)? Or is he "unworthy"? You decide.
