Worst Event In History
Prompt: In your opinion, what is the worst event in history to have taken place? Could it happen again?

The Twin Towers Disaster. The US was caught the US off guard. Four planes were sent out with terrorists with the intent to destroy important buildings and take lives of US citizens. The people who worked in the Twin Towers lost their lives because of terrorists. Another plane crashed in a field because the passengers fought the terrorists. I love them for it. Could this happen again? Yes. That is why it is so hard to go through security at the Air Ports but we have to be protected. The US is always on guard now with extra security. I turned on the TV that day when I got up at 1100 AM { I work midnights} and didn't understand what was happening at first. I was in shock when I saw the video of the burning towers. I was scared. We had corn fields behind our house, beside us and across the road. I was afraid terrorists were hiding in there. My husband told me our area in Indiana has nothing terrorists want but I was nervous anyway. My son, his wife and I went to an Alice Cooper Concert a few days later. After Alice sang a few songs, the audience was yelling: "USA! USA!" Alice had walked off the stage. He came back wearing a flag T-Shirt carrying a flag and sang: "God Bless America." Lee Hazelwood's Song: "God Bless The USA" has special meaning for me.

It was a rough time but Ben Ladin got his. The USA fights back. We will always be on our guard. I pray we will be safe from disasters. At least the ones, we can prevent .
