Looks like I may have a ton of these, so this is collection 1 of Reflections |
It's Wildcard Monday! Prompt for March 3, 2014 Did you watch the Oscars? Tell us about a time in your life that was worthy of being made into a movie/TV show/novel/short story. I did not watch the Oscars, instead I spent a majority of my Sunday at The Quills! Time well spent, "2 -Sunday Movie News Review and The Quills!" . I'll avoid the obvious "my entire life is worth it's length in made for TV movies". Though it's true. I'll single out my college years as the most interesting thus far. All the people I met and some of the things I did.... Those years are probably tied with my preteen years of 10-14, starting with right before my parents separated, but that wasn't the best of times.... ---------------------------- Which past TV show was canceled or otherwise ended WAY too soon? Good question.....I suppose the Cosby Show and even Fresh Prince lasted long enough.....there are a ton of shows that only last a season or two though....can't think of them off the top. Time for some research I suppose. O! News Radio was another good one! Just wasn't quite the same after Phil Hartman passed.... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112095/?ref_=nv_sr_1 ------------------------------- And because I don't know when to say 'enough'! A new prompt joins this fray!
Prompt: March 3, 2014: Tell us about the last thing you got excited about — butterflies-in-the-stomach, giggling, can’t-wait excited. Cute prompt. Sadly it was probably over my new job. I was so thrilled, more so than I ever thought possible in preparation for a corporate contract. Alas, all good things come to an end....I enjoyed the feeling while it lasted. I did experience all those things, minus 'can't wait' when I got a Valentine's card in the mail from a friend of mine. I forgot my debit card at his house and he mailed it back to me with a personalized card of his own that fits our relationship so well, so that's a better one. |
