Lethargy, or Lecithin? Litigation? Arrg! I almost had it...

My mind is almost blank today, so for anyone who reads this blog, I'm sorry, but I'll have to disappoint. (More than usual *Smile* ).

One thing comes to mind, though; a quote I read on the local cafe blackboard. I asked a staff member there last time I visited, was there a writer on the premises, but she said no, it's just a quote from a site somewhere.
They put up a new one every week. Well, wherever they get them from, the quotes, or definitions, sound like something a writer would suggest.

Lethologica! That's it! It was on the tip of my tongue! (Yeah right)

When news broke the other day about Yulia Tymoshenko, Ukraine's ex PM, being freed from her arguably (sorry Elle - on hiatus Author Icon ! *Smile*) illegal imprisonment, I tried to read her personal blog only to find this. Pictures really do tell a thousand words sometimes.

Today I've felt on a major downer. Anyone experiencing this will know first hand how it is. Times like this you have to find something solid, some firm foundation of your past to stand on, otherwise you'll just see the darkness, the worst in yourself, and the worst in other people.
You forget the love that is abundantly available in your friends, in everyone, even enemies. Just because people disagree doesn't mean that love isn't there. And we've all been wrong occasionally. Ahem. Yes. Even my wife *Pthb* has been known to be "not totally right" sometimes.

Anyway, for those of you who may have read about my stumbling efforts to repair my dad's sundial and reinstall it so that the time was somewhere near correct - see "Where are we going with our take on time...on track?Open in new Window. , on another day when it was sunny, I did fine tune it.

Amazing how accurate something can be, when you consider the many thousands of kilometres / miles we are from that fiery orb in the sky, and yet we can personally adjust something here on this planet, by a mere whisker, and accurately tell the time by the shadow. I find it incredible. Put's things into perspective.
