Blizzard
Free Sunday.

We are having a blizzard in Indiana. We have a National Snow Emergency. We have 12 inches of snow, snowing and drifting snow. Our one window looks like a oval picture frame. Do I put my Wedding picture in it? It is cold. It started snowing at 3:00 AM this morning and won't let up until 1:00 AM the following morning. My husband took me to work last night and we had four inches of snow already. My aides who work under me called in due to impending snow. Two Nurses from the other shift worked with me. This morning, the Nursing Staff started to call in. They were stuck in the snow in their driveway! I had a hard time getting someone to call in. I cried and said: "I am too old for this." I even said a bad word. I apologized To God. Winter depresses me. After I had an illness and surgery I had this summer, sometimes I am still not alright emotionally at times. It took a lot of me. I felt better and passed out the Meds and things went well. The other Nurse came in and my husband was able to come and get me. It snowed worse and we have a snow emergency and Blizzard Warning. I had to call in. This weather has to let up. Boy! Am I glad I am at home!

My show "Downton Abbey" will be back tonight for it's fourth season. This cheers me up. I wish I was there.

How was your Sunday?
