New Year

On New Year's Eve, my husband and I went to my parents house. We ate Pizza Hut pizza, shrimp cocktail and cinnamon rolls. We played board games like: TV Trivia, Apples, Tribond and another TV Game. Dad went downstairs to watch TV and my husband, mother and I played games. We watched the ball drop at Midnight on TV. I wish I could have been there.

Today, my husband and I went to Mom's for a ham dinner. We also had: mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, rolls, sweet potatoes, brownies and peanut butter pie. Dad's brother and sister were there. Dad and his brother compared stories of who did the most work on the farm when they were kids. Dad came from a family of eight kids.

I made Blogger of the Quarter. This is quite a honor. I hope to be blogging all year. Best Wishes for a Happy New Year! Megan
