Do you have an older person / couple living in your street, or close by?

Are you too timid to visit them or feel they wouldn't want anyone coming to visit?

Every other week you see a funeral happening for some of these elderly folks. It makes you sad when you consider that with their passing goes all their life's experience, forever.

If you lack subject material, or ideas for your writing, then feel free to take a packet of biscuits (cookies) with you or some soup in a container, and pay someone a visit.

Yes, they might not be that welcoming initially. It may take patience to wait for them to come to the door, and remember to speak up.

Keep going back. They may give you something priceless. They may trust you with their life story, and even grant permission to use it.
