Romance
December 2, 2013
My heart was stirred to embrace romance. I notice the redundant message that can become infused in the everyday grind. "It is not like it used to be...when we were dating you seemed so____
I decided to risk going back to courtship haunts and was not in the least disappointed. We went to a place called the Plaza. It is a place where families go to see the lights at Christmas. It was one of the first places that Sharon and I attended when we were dating.
Stirred up in this manger were the memories of what brought us together in the first place(The CheeseCake factory). We were both looking for words of comfort and a familiar face in a strange land. This longing lead to many victorious bouts of intimacy and ultimately marriage. We realized that marriage has ups and downs. The most important truth to keep in mind is that we have each. The cheesecake was good, but even better was the time we had to hold each others hand and recall the love that continues to fuel the fire.
