Does anyone really know what a vampire looks like?
Depressed
In the first laugh of the day.

Good beginning to the day,
I lugged two recyclable bins to the curb,
I pushed the trashcan to the curb,
I picked up the morning paper
and now I have to decided
whether I want watermelon
or a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast.

Life each day
Is a beautiful sight.

It's a sign of the times
when cheap thrills
aren't cheap anymore.

Evening in Las Vegas
as the blue day fades
the neighbors return home
after a long day

an attitude change
is what I require and want
maybe tomorrow

I watch the sunset
no spectacular scarlets
after a long day
