Big Decision
Prompt: Pinpoint a moment in your past where you had to make a big decision. Write about the alternative life that would have happened if you hadn't made the decision.

I had a trace of cancer in my uterus so I had to have surgery for a hysterectomy. I didn't get a second opinion. My periods were heavy for years and I told my GYN/OB let's do this. If I wouldn't have, I wouldn't have be here now. I chose life.

The house fire husband and I had. I wish we would have moved to another state and rebuild and started over. I would have had to leave my family and friends. My sister wanted me to move to Florida to live by her and she would have given me a job in the high school kitchen {she is the supervisor over the kitchen} but Jacksonville is huge and I am not a city girl. The traffic is lousy there. I could have adjusted better then my husband. He is a farm boy through and through. The decision to stay in Indiana and live was probably the best one.

If I had to do over, I would have stayed in college and got a job I really wanted. Maybe I would have been working in Journalism. I like to Free Lance, not do assignments so maybe a job in Journalism wouldn't have worked out. I love being on the Web Site and have two published books, so I guess I am doing alright with writing.

Some times, we aren't always sure what we should do in life but I hope God will let me know.
