Before the hurtful words erupt,
with red-hot flow, like lava,

before the acid tears are leaked
with black mascara traces,

before you use sulking as strategy
or flirt with thoughts of suicide

rating yourself without stars
hating your life
and the lines it has left,

pause for a moment, reflect:
is this anything
