Summertime - Baby!

Hello everybody,

First of all I need to apologize for not being here for the last 3 days. I have been completely consumed by the novel that I have been working on with the Novel Writing 101 group. You how it is when your characters arise from the PC; start disturbing your sleep, and yell at you to resolve one issue so you can go on to another.

I want to extend my warmest thanks to Kasia. She sent me an awesome banner for my book and helped me make my site for my book fantastic.

What is your favorite Holiday home-cooked meal

My most favorite holiday meal to cook is Thanksgiving. I look forward to that every year, with all and I mean all the trimmings. I usually have around 30 people here. A lot of work, but well worth it. I have to say, I am with RenSter Bunny, Summertime out shines them all.

On the BBQ:

Appetizers: Shrimp and Chicken Licken' sausage, chips and home-made dip

An ice chest full of ice cold beer and an ice chest full of sodas and juice ( if anyone wants anything harder they gotta bring it.

Main meal:

Tri-tip
Hamburgers
Hot dogs
Mama's campfire chile
Home-made mac salad
Home-made potato salad
Home-made coleslaw
Sweet potato casserole with pecan topping

Desert:

Home-made ice cream
Butterfinger cake
Hee hee, best of all:
MY - Better than Sex cake - YUM
