Spring 2013 Poem
wind in the olive
temperatures are heating up
maybe a sweater

beautiful blue sky
olive limbs wave in the breeze
no clouds hide the sun

nightingales sing
the sun cast deep dark shadows
a pristine blue sky

I listen to the birds into their praise,
Sing their thanks for the first light of day.

Notes about this poem: I wrote this poem over the between March 9 and March 16, 2013.
