Setting and Landscape

Premise: Under the barrier Mountains exists a place of intensive cave systems that was hewn over a 60 year span and converted into a place that could sustain 5,000 people. All done secretely of course--as tight lipped as the Free masons

First level: living quarters and open spaces for 12 family groups and following three to four generations (carrying Capacity 1100)

         Dormatory family rooms for single families.

                   food processing area,
                             sink with running water and garbage disposal
                             Food synthesizer (much like that in star trek)
                             stove for those who whish for old fashioned food prep

                   dining area,
                             table and chairs where family eats

                   bedrooms,
                             single to double occupancy
                             bed
                             closet
                             drawers set in walls form clothing and personal items.

                   bath and toilet facilities,
                             Shower/bath, toilet, sink

                   utility room for laundry,
                             Washer and dryer, racks to hang clothing, folding table

                   mainroom for family gathering and company.
                             Computer consoles for reading, information,
                             sound system for music
                             video consoles for games, visual conferences
                             with others within the facility

         Park system separating each 'domicile'
                   grow lights for foliage in corridors and halls.

                   Central open space where benches and tables, foot paths and
                   foliage for those who like to stroll, have picnics,

                   Play ground with swings, merry-go-round, wading pool
                   (6 inches to 18 inches deep)

                   cafe, soda shop, beauty salon, daycare, bar, casino, Clinic for emergencies and routine medical, fire station and police office,


         Maintenance crawl spaces and access ports
                   Wiring for lighting, hidden camera serveillance,

                   Plumbing for living quarters and public areas

                   Other spaces not yet thought of.


Second level: same as First: living quarters and open spaces for 12 family groups and following three to four generations (carrying Capacity 1100)


Third Level: Business Park where Restaurants, Places of worship, Receational Parks, Hologram-Parks, Theaters, Judicial Hall, Council Hall, main Hospital, Facility for Higher Learning (College/University equiv)


Fourth and Fifth levels same as first two with exception each holds 13 family groups and has a 1,500 person holding capacity.

Sixth level: Maintenance control level

Hidden Level: Controller's Level with space for Controllers and their families and all the facilities they may need for privacy, recreation, education, medical, etc.--also 1 very well hidden access corridor that leads to the sixth level maintenance port which only the 2 top controllers initially know about.

Surveillance capacity for the Controllers:

Every Family room hallway, dining, kitchen, and utility room has hidden cameras and microphones. All Public areas equipped with Surveillance. The only places not 'bugged' for surveillance are the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The Hidden level is located above the huge underground lake--the aquafer that supports the facility.Capacity to adequately supply pure water for several centuries (more if water consevation measures are used immediately by the occupants of the facility.
