Today, a hero died.
Today a very fine hero in American history died. Neil Armstrong was a pioneer of the modern era. He was the first man to step on the moon. A lot will be said of this man. The point is that he did what he loved and did not care for fame or fortune. He just wanted to fly and do what he could do to keep the space programs alive.
I admire that. I wish that I could do that but unless I can find a reverse for aging time machine, I'm out of luck. I watch those sci-fi shows and wish that they could come true, for me at least. I guess I could have gone to school, studied hard and did all those special things but life gave me a big detour. Here I am sitting at a dumb computer and well, that is it. Doing nothing special.
But back to Mr. Armstrong. Thank you for the seeds to make more dreams for other people. Someone who knew about you and your wonderful accomplishments, will take the first step on MARS or beyond. Lucky explorers. I feel that if we can dream it, we can do it.
