Every year on my birthday,
I thank the Lord,
for the day of my conception;
because
without the embryo
that I was,
I would not be
the woman I am today.

The greatest gift anyone can give or receive is the gift of life, either physical life or spiritual life. I gave physical life to the daughter I gave up for adoption. I received the gift of spiritual life, when I accepted Baha’u’llah (Glory of God).

On the day
of my salvation,
the splendor of God’s Glory
gave me eternal life.
