This is Me

This is me with my eyes closed.
This is me with my mouth agape,
words unrecorded. This is me
with the mirthless bend to the lip,
fake and rehearsed, with the chins
and the nose. That's me, decapitated,
that's me caught in motion,
ridiculous blur. That's my hair,
frizzing deadly. My broken-heart-shaped face
is there, over-exposed, a flash of real me.
That's me, bottom row,
third from the right, with my underpants showing.
That's me in the lime green leopard print dress
with the vertical scarlet hair.
That's me with long hair, looking long
and equine. This is me with my degree.
That is me in the middle,
swallowing a fly. All these pictures are of me,
please let none of them be me.
