Venous Problems

I have venous problems in both of my legs. The left leg has the most problems, with wounds that weep and bleed. I had an outpatient procedure preformed on that leg and two ultrasounds have showed no blood clots.

On Friday, a wound began to weep and then on Saturday bleed. I remember hitting my leg on something on Saturday, which didn’t help the problem. Anyway, on Tuesday, I went in for the second ultrasound and the doctor suggested I go back to the Wound Hospital.

When I returned home Tuesday, I called the Wound Hospital and was able to get in today. The doctor had the left leg put in a four-layer wrap, which I have to have changed once a week. Since I can’t get the leg wet, I have to put a plastic trash bag over it when I take a shower.
