The Continuing Saga of Prosperous Snow |
Day 15: January 15, 2012 ~ 30-day Blog Challenge prompt is “Zombie Defense: What would you use to protect yourself if ZA occurred right this second?” I suppose the first thing I need to do is take an inventory of any potential weapons I have in the house. I will do that, right after I make sure that I locked all the doors and windows. Since it is night in Las Vegas, I cannot go out to the garage because there is no door from the garage into the house and my garage door is open all the time anyway. If Mom and I survive until January 16; I will have to have that door fixed. All right, any Zombie foolish enough to enter my garage is putting his or her brains in danger anyway. A Zombie or Zombies entering my garage would fall over all the trash, aluminum trashcans, recyclable bins, and whatever else is pilled there and crush his or her skull. I also have to clean the garage out, which I will do if I survive the Zombie Apocalypse. Now to the inventory of potential defense weapons, I have two brooms and one mop I actually have two mops, but one of them in on the patio and I do not intend to go out there at night especially with Zombies around. I know I locked the door from the patio into the house, but I did not lock the door from the backyard to the patio. What other potential weapons do I have? I have several screwdrivers of various types and sizes, which could be jammed into a Zombie’s ear canel. I also have several steak knives, plus a bread knife and some butcher knives (I like to cook). I have five glass vases and I could hit five Zombies over the head. I think the vases are heavy enough to crack the skull of any Zombie. We also have an adult potty chair, a wheel chair, a portable oxygen tank, and a walker. I am not sure how I could use those as weapons, but I will figure it out. I have an iron, which I could throw at the Zombies. I have a lousy aim and normally do not hit what I am aiming at when I throw something, but since Zombie come in hordes I would hit at least one.
