My Birthday and Christmas 2011

My Birthday was four days before Christmas so my husband Ray I have my Birthday and Christmas Party four days before Christmas. My parents, my son Jason and his wife Erin came over. We have a small family. We had chicken, scalloped potatoes, pizza, cheese and crackers, deviled eggs, Barbeque, baked beans, chicken salad and Dairy Queen Cake.

I decorate my tree with purple ornaments. I have my Christmas village all lit up. I have a dancing ball room like Jane Austen's time, Photography Shop, Bridal Shop and Music Shop. I have big Christmas Angel Dolls, animated Santa Claus and deer, a Merry Go Round, stuffed Rudolph, Snowbabies Nativity and animated penguins and snowmen that dance and play music.

I got my husband toy tractors for Christmas and Star Trek Next Generation Episodes. My husband got a frying skillet and a dress shirt from my parents and gift cards from my son Jason. I got my son and his wife gift certificates, candy canes, book marks and cat drinking glasses. I gave my father money, my mother money and make up. My family like money and gift cards. I spend a $100.00 on each family member.

For Christmas, I got: a Color Nook which I love and I won't need to buy books anymore. I have all my books in one place. My husband bought me this. He also got me a purple Vera Bradley bag. I got Paula Deen Pots and pans from my parents. I got Snowbabies figurines of Dorothy and the Winged Monkey and Hello Kitty Compact from my parents. My son bought me Alice Cooper CD's as I am a big fan of Alice Cooper. I saw him twice in concert. I got Bath and Body Gift Certificates. My husband and I got all the Married With Children Episodes on DVD from Jason and his wife. We love Married With Children. My sister lives in Florida and sent me 2 bracelets.

As we all know, Christmas is a time to be with family. That is more important the gifts. Mom makes the best turkey dinner which we always have at Christmas.I always love fudge at Christmas and my mother makes that, too.

I always feel sad when Christmas is over. I love listening to Christmas music and watching ChristmasTV Shows. I hope everyone had a good Christmas. I always hope for Christmas miracles. May the New Year be a good one!
