My spiritual house is not finished
it only has sixty-four rooms.

The construction will continue
until a door
opens
into the world beyond.

Each year adds a new room,
a room full of sadness and joy,
a room full of laughter and tears,
a room of tests passed or failed,
a room full of memories
waiting for me to relive
when my soul passes
into the spiritual realm.
