A wasp?

My daughter had a scare today (and me, too, natch). Two days ago she, finally, after nagging and nagging, went to the ER about the wasp sting she got A WEEK AGO YESTERDAY. Sorry about the shouting. Her leg and foot were swelled and red and not getting better (the sting was on her leg). They lanced and drained it (yes, it was infected) at the ER and sent her home with antibiotic prescriptions...and told her to come back today if it was not getting better.

Not better so back to the ER this morning. She said her foot was swelled, bluish and cold and her swelled leg had a red band around it. The doctor feared a bloodclot so she had a ct scan...thankfully, no bloodclot. They drained it...again...and cultured it this time...new scripts for staph infection until they know for sure in two days. She said he mentioned mrsa as well...yikes...from a wasp sting! So now she is waiting at the pharmacy and then going home to rest and elevate it. Hopefully, these pills will work.
