Not many thoughts...
Time slips by and writing takes a back seat. I can't concentrate on anything but Jim. He has fallen twice this week. He forgets he can't walk but one or two steps. I keep telling him to call me when he wants to move to the chair from the bed but he wants to surprise me. He does...with a thud. Thank goodness the bedroom floor is carpeted. The last fall I think he ran over his feet with the walker wheels. They are red and look bruised.

Yesterday we spent four hours waiting at the eye doctor's for a check up on his cataract removal. They had some sort of emergency. At least that looks good. His drops have been cut back to four a day and not another appointment until 9/15.

The results of his ct scan show changes related to aging...this information from his primary care doctor's nurse. I asked, "What does that mean?" She said, "Just that he has changes related to aging. The neurologist will be in touch with you." "Oh," I say. He has an appointment with neurology on 9/15, too. Somehow I must learn the correct questions to ask.

until next time...c
