The Continuing Saga of Prosperous Snow |
Istiqlál (Independence), 1 Rahmat (Mercy), 168 BE – Friday, June 24, 2011 about 2:45 PM Pacific Time My cell phone rings when I start to compose a blog entry. I have to answer it because it is usually business or something about Mom. Each call last at least five minutes, usually longer. I am waiting for another call while I compose this entry. My goal is to write at least 200 words for each entry. Interruptions cause me to lose the train of thought. I forget what I was writing about, so I end the entry and post it. I cannot do anything about the interruptions because they are an everyday event. The problem is loosing the train to thought and ending the entry short. I am not sure how to solve this issue because when I talk, I have to focus on what the other person is saying. As I write this, I expect my cell phone to ring and interrupt this entry. In fact, I am so worried about the phone ringing that I cannot concentrate on this composition. Since I cannot concentrate on the subject, I think I will finish this blog entry and post it. After that I will not have to worry about the phone interrupting me. |
