Life is a snooze.
ME:

Lucy was curled up this morning in a chair (she's a chihuahua); the young cat was stretched out on the pool table. Me? I'm trying to wake up with coffee. Not sure it is working...

Hotel Tucan is laid back, but a tad noisy in the evening. Afterall, this is a bit of a surfer town and the bar was open. Met someone from Belgium who has climbed in the Himalayas. He's going to attempt Chirripó.

Altitude and cold are the issues there. The "climb" is more of a long 8 hour walk. At 3.800 meters or so, it is not for the overweight like me or lowlanders. (Next year? If I lose weight...)

Did manage to rest. Sleep? Not on a thin mattress in the tropics with no fan on. The small dorm sleeps 4. I would've been better in a hammock maybe?

Pues... diay.

So. Checkout is 11, the bus comes at 1. I want to be in Quepos more than here. If I can get into the park at Manuel Antonio this time (finally) I may go back Thursday to Perez Zeledon.

So, no Dominical today. Too stressful to constantly watch my stuff. It may be better as a day trip out of P.Z. (very doable).

Life is snoozing today.

Off to take a hot shower.
