Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills. |
September: Celia is in Seattle; my mother visits my sister near Seattle. Hmm... ME: Much better than yesterday. More energy. Went to bed late last night... after the cops stopped a driver and hauled him off. Got up late. Now: at Bernice's where the folks are coming in to view the First Friday art show of their employees. Already posted photos at FB yesterday evening. (By-the-way, nachos are wonderful as is the smoked bacon gouda bread. We suffer.) Today: So far, not much, but not stressed either. What will get done will get done. And... still good news in California where Schwarzenegger and Brown both filed motions that marriages should resume. Hard to imagine that Judge Walker can ignore or dismiss their opinions. Regardless of mean efforts in Iowa, Maine and elsewhere. The AFA wants him impeached! The nuts have risen to the top. His judgment is well written and along with the Iowa Supreme Court's decision forms the basis for further debates. Those opposed must address those issues. I'm sure the Supremes have taken note... These decisions drain me as all drama does... May it be over and settled soon. It'll just be easier. Those opposed for religious reasons can continue to segregate themselves on Saturday/Sunday and teach their children whatever they want. They just won't be able to run the country as their own personal theocratic state. Their marriages and rituals will remain untouched unless and until they-themselves change them.
