A new galaxy is discovered

         for Liz

Beyond these cupcakes, buns and pots
back oven's heat and baker's art:
an expanding bloom of polka-dots,
her exploding womb of stars.

Liz, one of the young ladies at Bernice's Bakery is pregnant and it's noticeable when she wears polka-dots. The original thought: "the expanding womb of polka-dots / the exploding xxx of stars" It flowed from there.

Also... working on acrostics again. Aaron is an AAC. He's "angelic, cheerful, with a full mouth of pearly whites..." C= cheerful/cheery but I'm not pleased with the line "Cheery before brick's bas-relief" or "Cheery beyond our bold/base belief." I got beyond the A=angelic as it is too cliché. So... A= alabaster; A= aqua, azure, agate... as in:

Azure agate guise,
Cheery and courteous (beyond belief).

...no guile.

Nothing of note. Gathering thoughts from sand: a squadron of barchans; loess, what is gained from desert's loss; ventifacts (dreikanter), three faced pebbles sandblasted (like anyone we know?).
