Orosi
Costa Rica, Orosi, warm no rain... yet...

Not reading much of anything. Not writing much either. I know this will change as I’m keeping notes and taking hundreds of pictures (so necessary when taking photos out the window of the bus). I did catch more photos and video of hummingbirds yesterday at La Georgina. I posted a good one at FB.

The trip from Perez Zeledon was mostly clear. One passes at an elevation over 3.000m (over 10,000 feet) and I had to hold my nose and blow to pop my ears so I could hear when we came down. For some reason the bus stopped for a long time in San Gerardo. No sé porqué. Easy connection to Cartago where I was surprised that the Ruins were open, so I took more pictures. Caught the bus to Orosi and was fortunate that Felicia was here at Montaña Linda. Cost is $7.50 per night in a dormitory room (4 beds). I highly recommend it.

Went to Soda Luz and said hello to Luz and Jorge. Needed a coffee and ate a gallo de carne. Bought milk at the Super Anita. *Smile* Played cards with Sam (Ohio) and Matt (Jersey) and got soundly defeated.

This morning I woke at 6 but decided against traveling. I’m worn out. 4 hour plus trip from Perez Zeledon yesterday did me in. Today I’ll write, eat, rest…
