Talked to my grandson today. He actually gave me the baby version of "love you", he said"ove oo" I miss him so much. Did get some good news, my son will be home earlier than anticipated. I'm so glad he is coming home. I know he'll be changed but at the same time, he'll still be my son. War changes people, I know that, but hopefully with having his wife and son in the area he'll be able to cope with things better.
