Good news, sad news

Pishpot (the cat) cuddled with me last night and was looking for her family this morning. Rainbowapple is still at Stanford (she just posted an entry). The guinea piggies squeal every time I open the door.

It's odd visiting and trying to figure out how things work... or not.

Last night I went to an Indian restaurant on 5th and G. Ali, who I'd met a couple days earlier, brought me saag paneer (think spinach and cheese), basmati and naan. I ate half. Guess what I'm having tonight.

Sad news: sultry had to have her companion Morton euthanized. For those of you who know Val she's been through a lot the past few years and Morton kept her sane. "Invalid Entry" 

Since no one in Montana nor further east is feeling sorry for me because I get to smell the flowers and run around in my sweater, I'll sign off and go for a walk.
