I’m out of my funk

I've been in a dark mood lately. I probably have reasons for being depressed, but those aren't excuses for not writing, reviewing, or blogging. My reason appear logical (1) Mom's Alzheimer's, (2) the lump in my breast, and (3) short December days. I'm not going to argue about the logic of those reasons, I'm simply going to accept them and attempt to get beyond.

Emerging from darkness
one by one charcoal clouds pass
like fog at daybreak.
