What am I Doing Here?

I see that everyone is on needles and pins to read the next installment of "As the Boring World Turns". And yes this is not an exaggeration.

My purr-fectly nice critters are fine. Again thanks big 'G'. Mikie is picking up his appetite and getting his meds usually on time. Dorianne could use luck.
My fantasy league is in the cellar literally. Last year was a piece of cake and this year is rotten tomatoes. See what happens when I don't get LaBran James on my team. As as for the Rockets, they need a little help and maybe a double dose of good luck, plus no injuries. Say where's Yao?
I am happy that school is almost over. I think that my student is fine. I just want to know if the school wants me back in the spring. I have worked hard and done my best. As for substituting, I can only take two to three more times. And if any of them are like what I did on Monday, heaven help me!
The only new thing that I saw was on last Friday, 12/4/09, in which my town had SNOW! And was it ever beautiful. Now I am not asking for it weekly but this was one nice day for the books. I just hope that my pictures come out okay.
I am concerned with the war that is going on in my house. I have used chemicals, reverse air power and agitated water, and still those fleas persist. I would even say that they have thrived. I just hope that maybe more cold weather will give them the adios! My cats scratch and lick and do all sort of cat like things. I just wish that my work will prove successful.
Finally, I know that there might not be a merry season for me. Last year was the pits. At least I can be thankful that I have a home and retirement money coming in. But life is not what I want and that is that. :(
New Year's Day is just three weeks away. I hope that I will have a great 2010 when that time begins!
