WDC on Twitter!!
Have you heard? WDC is on twitter now! http://www.twitter.com/WritingCom

Not only that, but they've got a really cool twitter that gives daily prompts! {http://www.twitter.com/DailyPrompt}

My sis and I both wrote on today's prompt (pecans, peanuts and pistachios). Hers was waaaay better than mine, and if I get her permission, I'll put hers here, too. Here's mine:

Jenni twirled her fingers through the assorted nuts in the ceramic bowl. Pecans, peanuts, and pistachios clinked against one another as her fingertips pushed them idly. Tapping her foot impatiently, she regarded the bowl. Who eats out of these community things, anyway? Gross!

The doctor’s door opened, and with a feigned sigh, she stood quickly to greet her mother who was exiting the office. Jenni stopped cold as she looked upon her mother’s face, though. She didn’t look happy. Not one bit.

We're both getting excited about NaNo, and we thought these prompts would be perfect for daily writing sessions. I managed a very measly 82 words today... (not including my writing for "October Novel Prep ChallengeOpen in new Window., though) Maybe I can do more tomorrow. *Smile*
