Costa Rica: Thou ![]() I do appreciate the comments. I read them but have chosen not to respond as I have so little time here in Costa Rica and playing on the internet is a luxury. ![]() Me and Mine ![]() Decided to call Armodio out of the blue this morning. Hadn't spoken to him in over 30 yearts. He answered the phone and immediately mentioned Cahuita ![]() Armodio is from Puerto Limón and now lives in Hone Creek south of Cahuita. I'll visit tomorrow. Hope it's sunny on the Mar Caribe! Life can be a beach. ![]() So... I already warned him I have "grey" hairs... well, more like white... and lots of them. Ticos age more gracefully than folks from the U.S.: less stress, better food, better climate. Today [written last Thursday? but posted today when I got back] I went to visit San Ramón, a city an hour west of San José in the same general area of Grecia where I visited yesterday. Visited a quirky hotel there, the market, had a tuna sub and a coffee at Café Aroma. Took pictures of course. I especially like the tile floors of the churches. Each is a little different. And the parks? Well... there seems to be a common theme there too: trees, benches, kiosk. The bus cost ₡ 925. Watt's Gnus ![]() I leave for 10 days and there's news? As some of you know, I've been following the debate over marriage. Today domstic partnerships started in Nevada, marriage is on the agenda in D.C., and a judge in Texas declared the state's ban on recognition of other state's marriages as unconstitutional. Texas?
