Hot hot hot.

It has been so hot here lately. Three days of in the 90's for us here in the foothills. We've had all the fans going and are running around in our tanks and shorts. If it gets any hotter we will be using the air conditioner. It's summer here already! We are in for more of the same for about a week, I guess. Not that I'm complaining - I love summer weather. We were thinking of a trip to Oakland and Monterey coming up soon...but...ahh I don't think the weather there is as nice as it is here. So, that may be put on hold for some time.

My granddaughter Alex got her cast put on her leg. She did not need any surgery, thank goodness! My daughter Julie had her echo-cardiogram, but has not gotten back the results as of yet. I will probably hear on that this week sometime.

We've been playing alot of poker lately. It's fun, it's free, and it's a nice change from scrabble for awhile.
