I WISH TO SEE THE STARS AGAIN

I wish to see the stars again
To dream of what might be;
To feel the breeze upon my face
And find the missing key.
This heart, locked up so long ago,
Demands to be set free.
But I must ponder certain things
Before I can believe.

Just know that I will not allow
Myself to disappear.
Remember that whenever I
Whisper into your ear.
So help me take one final chance
To blaze this new frontier;
I want to spy those stars again,
Regardless of the fear...
