Memories
Well I like to review my previous entry. Nothing new.
It is the last official month of the year before school ends. A new twist in that there is a swine flu that has closed down some schools in our area. This might mess some things up. Many people in Mexico have been very sick and some have died. All of the schools there have closed and the people are taking time to visit the US. Does that make sense????? Why would we want the virus brought into here? Finally a very sad note, Egypt has decided to kill every pig there. There are more than 300,000 pigs that will be slaughered and the pigs are not even responsible for the virus. I am so sad.
Well soap box time. Alaska has thought of letting someone put poison out to kill the wolves. Is someone really crazy? (Dumb question.) I think that whoever did this is certainly out of their mind. Wolves are not the enemy---human people are.
Finally this month is the one year anniversary of the deaths of two of the most outstanding living creatures on earth. My wonderful animal buddy, Pumpkin was taken by that viscious monster, cancer. It has been a year but I still think of his love. Second I remember the lonely wonderful duck, Homewood. Her loneliness was the only thing that eclipsed my loneliness. She did not deserve to die and I hope that if it was intentional, then the bad karma goes to that person and/or animal.
I have enjoyed this blogging. I hope that later I can read it and laugh and cry where appropriate.
