lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Entry from April 29th 2007: "Paradise" Entry from April 29th 2006: "M'aider: May Day mayday for the USA" 5 hour layover in Denver. Did get through to a friend and he came down to the station to meet me. We went to Sobo 151, a Czech-American Sports Bar on Broadway. I ordered chicken paprikash. I managed to sleep on the bus straight through to Salina. I woke up to a rainy Kansas Spring morning: Flat, glistening, green. Heavey rain at times, not like the drip-drip-drip of Montana sprinkles. Got to Lawrence and decided to stay at the Virginia Inn for two nights. There are no beds available for Friday-Sunday. I did not bring my sleeping bag. At the Oread Bookstore where I wrote many a poem. Ate sushi; afterall, it's Wednesday. Kansas: Thunderstorms and very green. 60s. Snow back in Montana. I visualize bodies moving like water; yet dare to sit stiff. This chair is a pain though what a small burden to bear. My derriere must appease me. Excerpt from new poem you can find in my plog entry: "166.30 Rest for the dancer" 14,444 |
