Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills. |
Waiting to know Jeremy Jeremy waits. Patient as stone ground to dust, he doesn't record the flicker of the day or decades. His finger sits on my pulse. Know me, he intones into the emptiness of air no breath-brush on my eyelids. I'm here, he gently reminds me. He's older pushed out of the womb he could not stay latched onto. Were it not for his passing I would not be here. All-the-same, were it not for the yearning of a young boy for a brother he would have no name. © 2009 Kåre Enga [166.36] 2009-04-18 You figure it out ... blah-blah-blah-blah-BLAH: Thursday: Went to Hobie's for writing group. Met Carol and Erin. Read two of my poems I've shared here; got some interesting feedback. Hobie sells photography: http://www.wildharephotos.com. He needs suggestions on more places where he can sell them. Many photos are Yosemite and the landscape and wildlife of the inter-mountain regions. Friday: Left the house for a walk and bought bread. Took me fours hours to finish my blog entry "A bit about me and why Susan Boyle inspires." So read it! Saturday: Talked to Michele @ Celtic Connection about doing my poems for her as collages that could be made into posters. Saw an osprey on its nest on the way to buy my ticket to Kansas. I arrive on the 29th. So much to do before then ... like warn everyone I'm coming!
