The Waiting Game

More what?

S N O W. UUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH. Do you believe it? I sure as hell don't. I can hear the rain coming down, pelting my window as I type this. I know what's coming, for the next three days I'm told. Is it not April? Am I missing something here? Wasn't spring officially declared weeks ago? Whatever. I'll deal with it, as I do most things. But I don't have to like it. So if you find me a bit of a pain, you'll know why.

On the weight loss front, I haven't lost much this week. Only stuck to the diet for four days, had other issues going on and I slacked off. But, I can report that I lost inches. WoooHooo. That's always nice to see. An inch here, a quarter there, another inch somewhere else, and a half at another. Damn skippy!

Had a family birthday celebration today at Mom's. Was nice, except for that damn cake that was staring at me, taunting me. And yes, I caved, had a sliver. What's a girl to do? Only am strong when I REALLY wanna be, and today was so not that day.

Working on my piece for Lutz's erotica contest. I spent hours on Saturday tweaking the opening paragraphs. This is not how I usually write. I am growing rather tired of major editing because I don't slow down enough to see what it is I actually typed. I did get through the first chapter of Lisa's story, and hope to get through chapter two by Wednesday.

Blackberry hell. My phone, the purple I HAD to have is my new torture. I spent weeks scoping out phones before I settled on one. And I picked the Blackberry pearl because it was PURPLE. I ask you, how can my color be my nightmare? I asked before I bought the darn thing if the IM functions would work independantly, and was told they would. NOT TRUE. Nope, you have to have the data package, for $25 a month. We had it in the beginning to get the $100 rebate. Only to find out they declined it because we cut the net. And that is when I realized msn messenger won't work. I've been battling with Tmobile for a month, and everyday for the last 5. Today, we have progress. Free net on the phone for a month, the rebate is being processed, and it looks like I will be buying a new phone at the lowest price possible. I was so close to buying the BeHold to begin with. Kinda urks me. But I went for the color, and everything else the Blackberry is capable of doing. I hope I like the BeHold. ~~crosses fingers~~
