My sister came to visit today

My sister came to visit today and I didn't recognize her. I recognized her voice when she spoke but she didn't look like herself. She looked older then the last time I saw her. Actually, my mother almost looks younger then my sister. I'm not sure what the problem is, my sister wouldn't tell me if I asked her even if she knew.

My sister and her friend, came into Vegas to see if they could get a check cashed. I can understand why I didn't recognize him, he had a beard. He grew one of those silly Irish beards, the kind that doesn't cover the face, but looks like its growing out from under his chin. The beard was white and straggly. Maybe I'll use the beard in a story because it would make a good addition to a character.
