My life is a diary
I inscribe in scarlet ink
on the pages of my soul.

Is the story I’ve written
the one I wanted to write?

Salvation’s light
floods memories dark corridors,
revealing
the difference between desire
and reality.

I didn’t expect this moment to come,
before Azreal’s two-edged sword
separated soul from body,
but the moment has come
and want I wanted to be
stands juxtapositioned
with what I am.

The judgment comes
when least expected
and salvation gives me the chance
to reposition
my desires and my regrets.
