don't go
I'm now officially three rounds behind on entries. I decree that that makes it okay for me to pardon myself on all the ones I missed before this round.

*

Right after the penultimate roll in the hay, I laid my head on Justin's chest and said Don't go just yet. The room was warm and CNN was on, my eyelids were heavy and I thought I might fall asleep that way. I thought it would be the nicest possible way to fall asleep, and that I would be so satisfied the next morning, alone in my huge new bed with that as my most recent memory.

Okay, he said, and a few minutes later, we had sex again. For the last time. It wasn't as good, and something bad happened in the middle. By the time he did leave, we were both exhausted and grumpy. Two days later, we were "friends."

Without the numbers, it's hard not to just connect the dots that are closest together. I'll never ask anyone to stay longer ever again.
