Shot Down Shot
They told me not to take anti-inflammatory medications for 48 hours prior to the shot. Of course, this was four weeks ago, when it was scheduled - I remembered, mostly, but then Monday night I automatically reached for a handful of Advil. I realized my mistake only after even a stomach pump would have been too late.
So today they're like, "Well, we could do it but there's a risk with blood thinners that blood will get into your nerve and then you won't be able to walk."
Um... I like being able to walk, even if I don't do it much.
Personally, I can't see it making much of a difference - blood could still get in there - but I'm not a doctor.
So they rescheduled it for Friday.
No Advil since Monday night... damn. This had better be worth what I'm feeling right now.
