What am I Doing Here?

A trip in the stars!

Many times I have a serious issue to get off my mind or a tragedy that just left me with no where to go but here.
Today---------ta da! I might just have the break through with something nice.
Today, is Thursday. But just a few days ago, I started taking my telescope out to look at the stars and what ever there was in the sky. I usually was only able to focus on the moon. Who could miss that right! But there was a bright 'thing' in the middle of the sky that I just had to see. The first night I was unable to get a focus. The next night, I got what I think is SATURN!!!! I saw some rings and at least four moons. I felt as though I was the world's smartest astronomer. I looked at that little lighted spot for almost one half hour. I just did not want to go in but the mosquitoes were so delighed to have a warm dinner that I decided to go in to spite them.
The next night I think that I found it faster. I even used the higher power magnification. WOW! It looked beautiful. I imagined that Jean Luc Picard would be proud of me for my efforts. (If you do not know who he is then go to bed, you're not a Star Trek fan.) There were a couple of nights that were cloudy and kept me from my appointed work. But I shall continue. Maybe I'll get one of those citron bracelets to ward off the little blood suckers.
Any way this is a nice day. I left earth for a few minutes and traveled where no _ _ _ _ has gone before. It was pretty nice.
