Read: Luke 1:26-38
This message wasn't a mere congratulatory “Congrats! It's a boy!” message.
This was a serious situation. Mary was supposed to stay pure
and refrain from having sexual relations for a period of time.
Becoming pregnant would have been horrifying and scandalous in those days.
Accepting the situation was showing a staggering amount of faith.
When we ourselves encounter hard, embarrassing and weary times, we tend to
show a very small amount of faith unlike Mary.
When you are faced with tough situations, go to God. He is the Lord, and He
will make all things turn out alright. Have faith in God!
